Richard is completely correct. I have a lot of sympathy for plod on the floor because the police senior management has been appeasing ethnic minorities for at least 20 years. My eldest step-son had a career in engineering, but always wanted to be a policeman. This was many years ago. He joined the force and stuck it for 5 years. Towards the end he would not even approach an ethnic minority without orders from a senior officer as they always pulled the race card and officers on the front line would have no support from superior officers. He learnt a valuable lesson and returned to a career in engineering.

British authorities have pandered to this ethnic minority for decades. When it's only been about parking restrictions most people have let it go, even though in my city it's patently obvious that a certain ethnic minority can park where they like without any consequences but if you're any other ethnic minority or even white you get a ticket. My sister in law was being given a ticket when she had a wheel parked on double yellow lines, not the whole car I might add but just the back wheel. When she mentioned to the Parking Enforcement Officer about the area where a certain ethnic minority predominate parking not just on yellow lines but at road junctions and on the pavement, the reply was the powers that be want to maintain social cohesion. A perfect example of double standards being applied. Now this double standard is being applied to more serious offences and quite naturally most people affected are protesting. Currently, whether you believe the old adage or not, we are not ALL equal under the law. We've pandered to this ethnic minority for decades and they've become use to doing what they like on our streets and like any spoiled child who has never been said no to they become arrogant and in some cases violent when they don't get their own way. This is one of the end results of so called Multi-culturalism and social cohesion experiments where one part of the community more or less governs itself to the detriment of everyone else.
