Get rid of pension credit, only tax pensions at income beyond 30k py (or the average UK salary). Give back all senior perks/benefits* for those who paid NI when working, no means testing, no bureaucracy, no fuss. *travel passes, blue badges, etc. Reduce the number of disabled parking spaces in car parks as they are largely unused b/c it's too difficult to get a blue badge. We are being governed by a group of people that don't what they are doing ....most are running departments they have no experience...we have an PM that was a lawyer....what experience does that give anyone to run a country..never run a mayor company has no idea of economics.... Miliband has no idea about energy...never had any part in it before

Reality is we need to scrap net zero and sending billions of tax payers money Overseas. Get drilling/fracking for gas and build mini nuclear reactors en masse around Britain. Cheap energy means a pensioner can keep the heating on all winter and wouldn't need a fuel payment. Cheap energy means a booming or growing economy, which we desperately need. The tensions on the economy and people in general struggling to warm their homes is all down to net zero. I have wind farms by me that rarely work and my energy is not any cheaper even when on the rare occasion they do work. One day all the people will wake up to this.

Most still pay taxes on their pensions as well as paying into the pension plan all their lives. The Govt is tying to eliminate them - period. Shame on them!

Should be done on tax threshold ,if you retire on 20 per cent tax payer, you should get it nothing over . That will help the poor pensioners .
