Authors Andre Sólo & Jenn Granneman discuss their new book “Sensitive: The Hidden Power of the Highly Sensitive Person in a Loud, Fast, Too-Much World," a powerfully validating, destigmatizing, and practical book, with the power to change-once and for all-how we see sensitive people, and how they see themselves.
Sensitive teaches us how to unlock the potential in this undervalued strength and leverage it across the most important areas of our lives. Through fascinating research and expert storytelling, the authors show readers that the way to thrive as a sensitive person is not to hide their sensitivity, but to embrace it.

Good to have this discussion on high sensitivity! As a highly sensitive person, the more this trait becomes incorporated as a 'positive' in common discourse, the more hopeful I feel about our direction as a species. I wondered why you didn't mention Elaine Aaron's foundational research and writing on the trait of high sensitivity?

All my life, I haave been told consistently about this trait in me in all possible negative ways. Everybody complained , including me. I started healing only after seeing the mirror image of this. Wired differently and for a reason and THATS a STRENGTH. Inter Generational Genetic Genome Mutations. Embrace , this is a super power. Love to all Empaths and Resilient Beings.

You will never go broke telling highly strung losers it’s not their fault and they are in fact just extra special, amazing people who don’t need to change one jot.

You are quite obviously NOT a sensitive person in ANY way. A total loser at being human. I have great empathy for anyone who might ever think they could care about you and get anything meaningful in return
