It is great to see someone has written what software engineers are doing already a long time. By the way in M&E - (Media and Entertainment) they use the CODE already from in the mid of the last century - Camera (Capture) - ingesting - getting the content into the media asset management system in an organized manner and then it is edited (D) and broadcasted (Exposed). The para stuff is a good acronym for something software engineers do for almost more than 40 years. They work all on projects, area's, resources - in the beginning they stored it in directory structures and when the project was finished they archived it. It are the same software engineers that created the tools to facilitate this. And it is a good remark to say that software engineers are front-runners because they have to meta-think about the problems they have to solve. Personally I prefer the tool 'TheBrain' as it really can capture easily information of all different sources and can interlink idea's and information in a visual manner which all other tools can't.

I have been doing this for years. If there's one tip I can give is: it's not a diary. Don't treat it as a diary. I've tried diaries and I can't keep up with them. Think of this as a book, or more precisely, a knowledge base. No note is set in stone, they can all be changed, moved, or deleted to fit a bigger picture.

Zettelkasten is a german word which translates to 'note box'. The definition explains what material to work with and the filing system used. Let's break it down into its parts: A 'zettel' is a slip or note of paper.
@NostraDavid22 жыл бұрын
I'm a fan of Niklas Luhmann's note taking system, even though I do it digitally, instead of analogue. I don't use any of the usual note-taking software, as I don't like the dependency - they'll end up changing something I don't like, which is what Evernote did, so I just use vscode with the FOAM extension (if that ever breaks then I still have my notes as they were) for backlinking and showing a graph of my notes. I do use his naming system, so my notes end up like "a2c2.md", not ordered by the regular title, like with a second brain, because files are always "ordered".

We need to understand that being at the top of the pyramid of creation means that everything we do trickles down the structure, from top to bottom. When it reaches the bottom, the inanimate level of reality, from which everything grows, it changes it. If we ooze ill-will, it creates negative changes throughout the system, which manifest in increasingly extreme climatic and geological events. In other words, when human relationships go out of balance, everything goes out of balance. When our relations become extreme, everything becomes extreme; when we become violent, everything becomes violent. Each summer, the ramifications of the linkage between our relations and our world become more extreme, until we acknowledge that everything that exists, exists in a connected, hierarchical system and that whoever is at the top determines the state of the rest of the system. It is not as if previously, we were better people than we are today. It is simply that there were fewer people, and therefore fewer elements that exude ill will. Also, relationships between people in the past were less toxic than they are today. While there are fewer wars today than ever, the levels of suspicion and alienation between people are skyrocketing, to the point where people can no longer trust their own family members. As a result, wars between countries are rarer than ever, but divorce rates, domestic violence, and violence in the community, are at an all-time high. Even the internet, which we invented purportedly in order to connect people, is being used to abuse, deceive, and exploit people. The world-wide-web proves that everything we create, we use against others. When there is such a negative element in a system, and that element is at the top of the system, how can the entire system not go awry? Therefore, if we want the weather to cool, the sea-level to drop, and the storms to subside, we must cool the fire and calm the storms between us. Mutual concern, mutual responsibility, or at least the knowledge that we are dependent on each other, are necessary in order to restore balance in our world at all levels, from the ground we walk on to the hatred in our hearts .

caebemazepine is a pretty routine, well-known old medication used for neuropathic pain (like trigeminal neuralgia) and focal seizures (only rarely for schizophrenia or bipolar where other meds are used more commonly). It is NOT an off switch for your CNS, most people tolerate it without side-effects and live their lives, of course rare side effects like effects on memory in case of the speaker are possible but lets not tarnish a useful medication by making it sound scary and dramatic.

@tiago - what if you do not have access to Evernote when you in a meeting, then how would you capture the notes at that point and how do you make sure that note is transferred to the Evernote?
@bryanprince81842 жыл бұрын
I also use an A5 Supernote (digital notebook) during meetings which uploads notes to Dropbox and then I drag into Evernote. If you use real paper then you can take a picture of the meeting notes and then pull that image into Evernote. The only problem with the image is that Evernote cannot do a search for a keyword or Tag. My advice is to move to a digital note take system while sitting in a meeting, whether that is microsoft word or apple notes (which I use in the gym to track workouts) or anything other than paper. It took me awhile but I eventually phased paper out of my life for note taking.

what could go wrong if parents don't intend a reflex system over a newborn (except parent's sleep deprivation)? cause the adults are definitely not ones that live 24 hours by a schedule, it's a system intervention which is better when left alone out of human life then hours shift drastically out of 24 hour zone sleep/awake time. I barely believe it's a 24 hour zone always it shrinks and expands and is dependant on many factors. only job still needs it preserved. thus wondering what could go wrong with a baby left by its time... does the rythm is just simple magic trick or there's more to it?

@@markhumble7608 the human brain has never stopped evolving. There is a clear definition of what a "species" is, and that demarcation ends when members of that species can not longer interbreed with one another. Currently on the planet there is only one species of hominid - we are it. There are no sub-species of humans. For example the "Race" is a socio-poltical construct erected by humans and has nothing to do with Genetics. I agree with you that the statement "our brains are 200,000 years old " is wrong. Evolution is a complex dynamic process that can involve bursts and also micro- evolutionary changes that occur within species and sub- species.
