Gloria ETERNA para EL GRAN EUSEBIO!!!

The interpreter's getting a lot of flack but I think he did a pretty good job considering. He basically needed to transate Leal's long sentences in realtime, editing them on the fly so that the translations would be brief enough not to get talked over by Leal's next sentence, while still keeping the edit in the spirit of the full answer. I wouldn't wish that job on my worst enemy; I think he did fine.

THE ENGLISH TRANSLATOR IS OMITTING PARTS OF THE SPEECH FROM EUSEBIO , in his defense Eusbio's sentences are huge and complex. but he's giving sometimes the wrong tone to what Eusebio is trying to say. AT some point omited full sentences in the translation.Overall he kind of got it right, but when they were poking around into the politics of it, the english translation was once or twice, in my opinion, conveying a completely different thought. Do notice that as the english was being spoken around, the Cuban translator for Eusebio was whispering constantly into his ear, that is a true professional translator. The kind presidents use. ANOTHER point on the english translator, is that Eusebio was not pausing with his long sentences and complex thought and educated mental proccess, which puts the just college graduate 2 years of experience translator to translate in his just got hired google translate job the speech of an intelectual scholar that has been doing that for 65 years.

Castro’s portraits and his sayings are all over Cuba on walls and big billboards. Why no statues? He opt to use Martí’s statues in order to look so humble himself and get to the heart of masses. He has a huge stone monument in Cuba which people go kiss and talk to him there. He also has plenty of statues all over the world, most of them made by non-Cubans who don’t know a dam about living in Cuba as a regular Cuban. I’ll never forget that day when I, a 10 year old child, was coming out of Havana’s aquarium, and there was Fidel, talking to the receptionist. All his guards heavily armed, dressed in military clothes, dozens of cars and a bus full of military men. Everybody, all families with children visiting the aquarium, stood afar wanting to see him, calling his name and waiving at him with fanatism. He ignored all of us; got in the limo and disappeared without even looking at us.

The story of this dog will one day be known, an accomplice of a murderous tyranny makes him part of that mafia, there is no talent, there is no study if you do not have principles or values, this man is the worst that exists in our country and the truth will be known and the truth will set us free, when talking about José Martí, his work cannot be used as a guide for a tyrant. It really is a great shame.
