I've also been far from him biggest fan. Truth be told Im (probably one of the few remaining lol) still not his hugest fan. My head says he's got a penchant for booze that's not ideal for a pro footballer. But the only people who's professional opinion he should be interested in are his club manager and his international manager, and if there's comuppence based on their opinions then he''ll have to deal with it. Just like if there's consequences down the line for his career.

I was the same but the criticism at the time was justified. Greanlish did an interview few years back and John Terry said to Greanlish a football career is short don't waste and your talent Greanlish said that moment changed his mentality. Look where he is now paying and performing like a 100million pound player. He deserves to get smashed 🎉 guys train and play hard all year round. People need to get a life. I used to celebrate just as hard as Jack because it was the weekend and that was every weekend. He’s devoted his life to his career and come the end of the season he’s more than entitled to let off steam. He’s a down to earth Birmingham lad whose doing very well for himself and I’d rather see more of them type of players than the media savvy robots that are churned out by academies these days. This is used to be a working class sport and here we are complaining about a player who actually connects with the majority of boys and girls who pay to see him play. Come on get off his back.

I think he's a character, but having to be wheeled around in a wheelchair and having Vodka poured down his throat made me grimace. There's celebrating and then there's getting paralytic. As someone who knows the relationship between stress, addiction and expectation, in today's highly professional landscape Jack has only got to where he has through discipline, you simply don't become at the elite level if you lack a bit of lifestyle discipline. In the 90's and early 2000's talent and a more humbling lack of discipline off the pitch did not impede the pro's from being pro's. But the demands today, if Jack developed an unhealthy attitude towards recreational ways of escaping the stress of his pro life then he would quickly be exposed. We treat Jack like Razor Ruddock, but lets be fair, he's know where near. But maybe he's the closest in today's age.
