Being young and fit there is plenty of space for having celebrations with alcohol. At the same Time you have to be careful that it doesn't take over your life. Sitting there sober and celebrating life? You wont be doing that if alcohol takes a hold of the body and mind. You want to keep that happy-go-lucky free spirit that makes wonders happen. There is millions out there testament to throwing it all away because of the alcohol. Everything in the right moderation. You don't want to get to the point of denial. You don't want to miss the boat. On the face of it you think you are going out for a laugh and drink? some peoples ideas are to lead you down a path to ruin? They know the script and where it leads but they keep that quiet and like to see people down. Being older I have had my share of amber nectar and ended up in the 90's with storm clouds in the head that had to be thought through and fought through. I know the script. Keep that young youthful spirit. There is more to life.

Look at all his teammates in the same position as him. All of them are enjoying themselves and having some drinks along the way. Jack in comparison is absolutely plastered in every instance. Frankly it is worrying to see. This is not unique behaviour from him, he has a history of abusing drink, even being prosecuted for drink driving. I think most people concerned by this issue are not trying to vilify the lad but rather worry for his wellbeing and hope that those around him or even Jack himself will consider seeking help.

With the money he has in the bank right now, he can afford a lifetime of the best of the best in therapy, medical care, rehab etc. And he'll be forgiven by the world for anything he does (or doesn't do). So I don't feel sorry for him, more for the homeless addicts on the street who get stepped on and walked over and spat at, who'll never get the help they need.

Grealish was lambasted for years at the villa the fact is the public perception of grealish is positive so the media can't make stories that sell that are negative until public throw him under the bus which they probably will when he makes a mistake in a world Cup semi or something then watch the stories change stop race baiting the world isn't black and white

Arguably, the rigour and demands of elite pro football under Pep are what's keeping Jack relatively sober. Without it, we'd be seeing a much less fun, happy and reasonable picture.
