Its only the media that keep going on about the 'West Ham Way' we as fans have moved on by some distance. With Moyes in charge when he won just 5 of his last 25 games with on average 25% possession and hardly any attacking threat, we rightly asked the question 'can we do better' - given West Ham are consistently one of the top 10 spenders globally on players, we should be entitled to ask if we can do better than that. The media are the ones that make it sound like we sacked a successful Moyes (he left on his own, and his last 6 months was catastrophic).

Utter nonsense, he got the players he asked for except for Alex Grimaldo. The rest were brought in by the recruitment team and Sullivan as they should be under a head coach/technical director model. The squad was poor and it will take several transfer windows to fix, this was just the start of the rebuilding process. Bottom line he wasn't upto the job

i've never known what the west ham way means. he is referring what few fans are left of his age. All west ham fans wanted this season was to stop getting thrashed match after match and lopetegui didn't stop that. I agree west ham dont have enough good players but being as they bought several during the summer, half of which were duds then the manager has to play what he has correctly and tactically. Under lopetegui they were totally disorganised , bad tactically and so players were played out of position and lost form. Kudus for instance is not a left winger.

David Moyes doesn't get enough credit for what he did with those players. When he won it was the players not him, when he lost it was all his fault not the players. He wasn't the most exciting and he was slow to react with subs at times. But he was unfairly treated, winning West Ham a European Trophy.
