Darren England was brilliant at breaking up the play and stopping our attacks, a great assist putting it on a plate for Salah. The ginger guy on the wing played his part too. Seriously “even itself out” the ref was banned from refereeing Liverpool because he cost them, 18 months later they let him referee Liverpool again because it’s only Bournemouth, to be fair he made a menz. Not just the major decisions but every single decision going Liverpools way, play pulled back when we are through. It’s not football anymore. It’s not a competition on a level playing field. I have never seen a fee kick for offside being taken so far in the other teams half. The handball was more of a penalty than there’s, both accidental and shouldn’t be given. Liverpool are good enough to beat us without help. Liverpool were by far the best team we have played.

It was 100% a penalty and it was not soft at all. Gakpo is about to get on the end of the pass and either take a shot or cross the ball when suddenly he can't anymore because Lewis Cook ran across the back of him and clipped Gakpo's left leg with enough force that it went into his right leg and he couldn't stay on his feet. Have you ever seen a last ditch ankle tap tackle in rugby? Similar sort of outcome. Are the rugby players diving now or can they genuinely not stay on their feet?

I don't think Salah is Balon d Or not because Liverpool supporters don't think so. Last season he wasn't even on the list. Now IMO he is an African player and the European media and football World don't rank him because of this. Just look at the numbers he has put out since joining LFC and all the top top players whose records he is breaking and yet the foolish media still do not rank him. The position he plays in compared to the strikers that he is breaking yet the debate that they are ahead of him in the rankings and ratings. This bull narrative that the media spreads is just crazy.

the ballon d’Or is for the calendar year so he would have to still need to stay healthy and be in good form by the beginning of next season to win it. Certainly won’t win if he’s sold to a Saudi club next season.
