If you think about it, both Jackson and Palmer are 6 foot plus. Both Nkunku and Felix are under six foot. Noni is 6 foot. Sancho 5’11. Our entire B team front line is well shorter than 6 foot. Yet reversed in the back and midfield. Just an interesting note. My initial reasoning to bring it up is in striker/10 a short player likes to play with a tall player and vice versa.

I love the domestic cup competitions & i have always liked that we historically have always gone out with the aim to perform well in the league cup. I think i would prefer a better go at the FA Cup again this year. BUT... this season i am genuinely completely okay with exiting early doors, purely as the priority this season has to be managing our league campaign & aiming to win the conference league. Our fixtures were already extremely bloated so yeah top 4, conference lge & a good punt at the FA cup is more than doable

Cucu is our most productive inverted 6. Reece is our best inverted 10. Viega is our best 3rd CB. Gusto is our second best at everything, but has the ability to become better than all 3.

I was surprised when Enzo decided to invert gusto instead of cucu early on cause when we had that 5 game run last season poch inverted cucurella and he can do that I think better than gusto. I think the best thing would be to play cucu and James both can invert and either one can make up the back three we saw it with Brighton with cucu and under tuchel James sometimes was the rcb

Reece James is too good to stay behind. If he can go up, he goes, be it bombing the flanks or inverting. Cucu and him can both be fluid inverting. It's just positional awareness. Just like when we had Ashley Cole and Bosingwa taking turns to bomb both flanks, or similarly Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses.
