It’s not the contradiction that’s the point of the comical element of it. It’s the fact that they’re so far apart in what is required to execute the two entities in themselves. It’s the fact thatcooking is so easy and so common and is to be expected and the skill it requires to remember things to a tee regarding his sport and career is fairly rare. It’s funny because it’s backwards.

Roy Keane is an absolute Gem. He comes off as very hard core, but I really enjoyed his take on the Bottling. He really knows how to analyze and knows how to see all point of views to a topic. He’s also super funny and his comedic timing is something you can’t teach.

The bottle thing is an absolute joke. Thrown about too much these days and usually from opposition fans of teams that have lost just to wind them up. As Keane said if City don't win anything this year does that mean they bottled it. Can understand idiotic fans saying stuff like that but for a Pundit to get sucked into the whole "bottled it" thing and say it is embarrassing and you can see him trying to justify it, which is even funnier. Should have just said, "wrong thing to say apologies" and left it at that 😆

@@OrangeBananaPear to survive? It's a life skill whether you like doing it or not. Young players are taught how to cook and feed themselves. When they go home after training the clubs aren't exactly delivering them meals. Carragher was probably a mummy's boy and now his wife does everything for him. He sounded proud that he's never cooked a meal in his life. A bit sad really

Everyone has different lives no point having a go at him for it, quite clearly said his mum never let him cook, then he’s obviously been signed and started earning stupid money and never had the need to do it

Ten hag was specifically asked about Carra's analysis, it's not like he went away and watched it and came to the press conference to dig him out. Also United's back line can't push up high without the likes of Martinez and Shaw in the back line.
@YusufEbr8 ай бұрын
Why can't he coach the rest to the close the open spaces? They not toddlers, it's foundation level stuff. Close the open space infront of you. Doesn't need specific players everytime lol
@TheLj17958 ай бұрын
Exactly this is why Ten Hag was saying the analysis is not objective, its obvious United won't play the same way with Maguire vs Martinez. Carra had a point but his analysis was one sided and lazy

Totally disagree with Carragher. Football is so much worse these days. Football in the early to mid 2000s was footballs peak across every position on the park. Tackling was still a thing, no var, no diving, competent ref, animated managers and far more world class players. Footballers now are just fitness freaks. Outside of Man city, the game is gone.

Outside of Man City!? There's at least two teams there that deserve a mention mate.

The game was based more on skills back then. Players were better! Household names in every team. It's a tactical game now and ETH is outclassed tactically.
