I just rewatched Corner Advice on the TNT Sports channel. While Don is telling Dubois he cannot lose and other stuff, Daniel calmly tells him to relax so he can listen to and take his dad's advice. This is Don's first boxer that won against an aging former champion and he's already acting as so religious, so honest, and so much of a philosopher. I do not particularly like Gareth...like most journalists, he would also say the "right" things from time to time to keep the powers of boxing happy, but I do not like Don's arrogant behavior either. He's transforming from being a great trainer and a simple human on the day after the fight to an arrogant and narcist person within the span of one week.

I don’t often defend Gareth but on this occasion he’s done nothing wrong. Don knows his relationship with Dubois will shortly come to an end and he’s constantly walking a tight rope. Just look at the fight.. Daniel didn’t look at Don once and would only go to his father for reassurance or advice. Daniel couldn’t even thank him after the fight. AJ was absolutely awful and Daniel was as expected. Spencer Fearon recently mentioned how he had to beg Daniel’s father to keep Don on as his trainer. It’s a pretty sad affair.
