Although in Daniels position I would understand it if he picks a somewhat easy fight, as a boxing fan I would find it very unfortunate. Daniel is incredibly good especially at his age and I dont see many young ones rival him any time soon. There is many good contenders for him from the "old generation" but only if Daniel fights them soon. Even if Daniel fights Usyk and/or Fury next year I feel like they are not entirely in their prime anymore. I feel like Joseph Parker is really in his prime, same goes for Kabayel and Martin Bakole. I really hope Daniel fights as many great fighters when they are still good as possible to see where he truly stands and to simply see amazing fights. Zhang for instane could still be ineresting now but no so much in a year.

I think he's referring to the casual fans' interest. The champions with the belts aren't necessarily the biggest box office draws in boxing! AJ vs. Fury would be huge compared to Dubois vs. Usyk, and this is why Dubois doesn't mind a rematch with AJ because, like it or not, AJ is the superstar name in the heavyweight division and brings in the most PPV cash. Boxing can be unfair sometimes in the sense that the best boxer doesn't always leave the sport having made the most money.

Agree or disagree, newly crowded world champions usually get 1 or 2 easyish defenses. Bruno took on Tyson after he won the world title because the money was so much better than other options. Not sure Parker is that much of a risk? Maybe a chiny AJ, made Dubois look good? I'm very much hoping Dubois has the tools to have every chance of holding on to the title? Not sure, maybe a good boxing heavyweight would give him trouble. Is there anyone out there that's that decent? He seems to hold a shot, he is very strong and powerful. Perhaps stamina in the stretch may be a factor? Can't see Dubois boxing for 12 rounds to get a result. Seems a bit crash bang wallop.

Tunde is correct, DDD has had 3 progressively harder fights and should be given a bit of a gimme fight then the likes of parker after. The unknown element would be DDD's own motivation to fight a 'lesser' opponent. Uncle Frank knows the score!! But I wouldn't begrudge DDD a easier fight than Parker. (I'm a fan of Parker and if anyone has earned his shot then it's Joe Parker)
