It's absolutely nuts to think this was a robbery when the guy who won was on the attack for almost the whole fight and guy who lost was so locked in defence for almost the entire fight. It was a close fight. I had ut 115-113 for Beterbiev. Beterbiev edged it with his ring generalship, pressure and aggression and especially so by winning the championship rounds quite convincingly.

Honestly Gareth Davies’s score isn’t valid. Especially when he got it wrong. As for Spencer I’ve never listened to him. You don’t score fights on pressure and when Beterbiev did throw Bivol caught them all on the arms or gloves. A masterful performance

Effective aggression suffocated Bivol from the 3rd round onwards, after that point Bivol barely won a round. He had a few combinations inbetween Beterbievs relentless pressure. The right man won.

Agree 👍 but he did have knee surgery 4 months ago. Taking that into consideration then looking at his performance nothing but respect for artur. But bivol is still up there toe to toe with artur. But next fight should show a clear winner.

At no point was Beterbiev in any trouble at all, Bivol was running in at least 3 rounds. The rest were extremely tight.....I thought a draw was fair....

Bivol looked good when he landed but he was on the back foot because of effective aggression imo. Beterbiev may not have been landing head shots but those punches were damaging and stopping attacks. I thought Beterbiev won by quite a wide margin. it was a pretty lacklustre fight imo.

Spencer needs checking here, “Beterbiev now P4P No 1”. Absolute masterclass from Bivol. Who won by 2 rounds imo. Even if you believe Beterbiev won, he’s unified all belts in one weight class. Usyk, Crawford, Inoue have all belts in 2 divisions, with Usyk doing it in the toughest 2 division’s, fighting people with a 35-50lb detriment. That’s true P4P no. 1

It seems like bivol isn't getting credit for the sweet science I think it was close but I gave it to bivol and I thought beterbiev was going to win it wasn't a robbery so hopefully we get the rematch even beterbievs corner said he needed a knock down or knock out unless that was just to get him fired up anyway great fight 👍
