AJ doesn't deserve to headline cards and have £20 million-£50 million purses anymore. He' s nowhere near that level and hasnt been since losing to usyk the second time but was fortunate enough to have a soppy clueless fanbase that thought Franklin, Wallin, Ngannou and Helenius were some road back to redemption when all he and Hearn were doing was squeezing the last pennies out of them.

@@eesaa7832 And the ref saved Wilder in his first proper test... after 39 fights and 11 years as a pro. Also before any fanboys say Stiverne, he was in no way a tougher opponent than Charles Martin, a better chin maybe but Charles Martin was undefeated at the time(unlike Stiverne) and had KO record just like Wilder's(unlike Stiverne) and he had more height and reach. They(Wilder and C Martin) were in fact both signed with PBC at the time, so Wilder could have had first dibs but it was deemed to risky because of his punch power. That was something Wilder always avoided until the very latter part of his career, ever since the Sconiers scare while fighting tomato cans... admitted by his matchmaker at GoldenBoy on record. For all the downplaying of that win, people forget it was AJ who exposed Charles Martin(who had a rep just like Wilder going into that fight from the same PBC management hypetrain), he like Wilder was a hype job but only one of them got the protection. C Martin does have elite power IMO and can box much better than Wilder but his chin and mentality are worse. He froze in that fight from feeling the first concussive jab... Wilder needs to be rocked to freeze at least and even then he wouldn't stay down for a 10 count when he could get up. But he was outboxing Ortiz(multiple knockdowns too) until he got clipped and stopped soon after, something Wilder never did in two fights.

AJ's shot absorbtion has got worse the more mechanically correct he's gotten. Watch his earlier fights where his guard is tighter and hes slightly more round shouldered and he absorbs shots 20 times better. Age has played a part for sure, but i honestly think by working on his posture, his head is up more and his neck/shoulders/back cant absorb the impact as well. Sounds mad, but deffo some correlation there

I looked up AJs 'last 10' or really 'last 5 years' which is sometimes a picture of where they're at now. AJ is 6-4 2 of those of those losses by KO and they aren't 'wild shots' but rather the opponents absolutely beating the shlt out of him. 2 of the losses went the distance though it's worth noting he seemed about 15 seconds from getting KOed in one of them. 1 of the wins was a fake fight where the opponent was looking to lay down 'for the sake of boxing'. He does have a win against 37th ranked fighter coming off a loss to a shot Dillian Whyte and in his 1st fully-pro fight. A win against a fighter who's just came off a horrendous 1st rd scary KO (stunning it was sanctioned). It's worth a note that guy actually did mark AJ up pretty good for a while. but still, AJ did win. He has a solid win over the MMA guy. Also worth noting is that AJ hasn't shown much 'KO power' lately. Nobody can think of a single punch that did anything to Usyk over 24 rounds. He did knockdown Ruiz with a huge combination but it more 'bowled him over' and didn't seem to hurt him (boxing sense, impaired). He didn't hurt Ruiz2 at all. He didn't hurt 37th ranked guy. He actually DID hurt Wallin but not in the sense 'impaired' but rather caught him on the nose cracking it and causing Wallin incredible pain. AJ then whiffled, missed, floundered. landed some blobby shots for 2 straight minutes, hitting air as Wallin would dodge shots and even talk to his corner confirming they had their 'Out'. He did get the retiring Norwegian KOed ut when you watch that you realize the opponent was absolutely exhausted beyond belief, so tired that it wasn't really because AJ suddenly developed 1-punch KO power. FINALLY he actually got a real 1-punch power shot that put someone down. The MMA guy Nagano. But its kind of ugly because the MMA guy gets right back up and AJ spends the rest of the round failing to drop him and actually the MMA guy is fighting him despite seemingly out of it. AJ then needs to knock him down but again he gets right back up. In a disgusting display AJ gets a 100% free punch on a basically defenseless out-on-his-feet victim and strolls around like king of the world. Not a single punch hurts Daniel Dubois. and that is the last we saw, getting the absolute shltkicking by DDD that is so lopsided it appears to be a cruel mismatch. It's so bad that it's hard to believe any serious boxing org would allow a rematch. He should retire. He should not fight Tyson Fury because even though it would have to be 'scripted' and another Fake Fight that's really a sparring exhibition I don't believe Fury would cooperate and the first solid jab by Featherfists will have AJ's legs rubber and he wont be able to recover. and what good is his stunning 200 million dollar fortune when he has CTE brain damage and we have to feel horrible about it a few years from now. Will his next opponent have to live with knowing they might have been the one that gave him permanent brain damage over a stupid unnecessary last fight for AJ?
