Just a quick note, April. You might want to fix the SimpliSafe link. The word "to" in the sentence is included in the link right now, which returns a 404 error at SimpliSafe if you click on it. Hopefully you can fix that easily. :)

I loved the little happy dance when the first cabinet went up 😊. This is my favorite series on KZbin right now. Also, Sarah Jarosz should NOT be relegated to overflow IMO. She's so good.

I like your method of using the clamps to ‘straighten’ the panel while you attached the trim. That and the method you used to build the slat doors were too simple yet ingenious! This series has been great! Thanks so much for sharing each step of the project as you complete your loft! Keep on building April!

As always, beautiful, creative work! I gave my vinyl collection to my son-in-law so that he could enjoy them as much as I did when I was building and listening to my collection back in the 60s and 70s. Unfortunately, he’s now an Ex and the collection went with him when he was kicked out. Oh well.

It all looks great, I love watching you make. Just curious though, do you look at that area in a whole and think you maybe the top two shelves would look better with the ceiling angle? Or even make it into one box that kinda for an around the beam and have the ceiling angles? Anyway, awesome job!

Could you cut dado with a skill saw and then chisel out the remains?
@polerin3 ай бұрын
It would be hard with the skill saw, just because of the curve of the blade. It also be a lot of passes with that kind of tool. A router would be your better bet. Clamp all the wood together square at the bottom cut your dado with a router and then clean up the edges. If you are working from one square panel you can cut all of your dados first then cut the slats out of the panel, just make sure you number them
