I was so inspired by this journal after seeing yours on IG that I made my own by using an old vogue magazine and folding the pages in half that I hadn't torn out. It's the perfect on the go journal size or the perfect size for couch journaling 😁

I love tall, skinny projects (anything that's not the same-ol-same-ol if I'm honest, lol) @28:52 it's probably too late now, but an easy fix would be to just back that beautiful piece you want to use as the wrap-around cover with thicker paper or a piece of coffee dyed fabric...that way it will have weight and lay flat when you're working (or when you glue that fold down, make it a tuck spot). Another option too is to not sew the pages together until you're done working the journal/decorating, writing and all (just tie it in traveler's notebook style) and sew it in when it's done. Makes working on any of the pages so much easier when you can just take them out. Fun stuff 🤓
