Point of order: Aircraft manufacturers space seats according to the purchaser's spec. (I have friends who's sole job is to figure out and implement this for one major carrier) So blame Delta, not Boeing. 😂

Reclining your seat on a plane is never okay. Even if you ask people may feel pressure to say you can and be inconvenienced. As a tall person with shoulders wider than most economy seats flying is already very uncomfortable for me (an aisle seat is essential) if you lean your seat back it compounds the problem even more. It may be the airline’s fault for putting too many seats in, but that doesn’t make us tall people any less annoyed/unable to work/ or in pain. I can imagine for larger people too, they would be similarly irked. If you lean your seat back I will politely ask you to not do so because I’m tall and you’re hurting my knees but decreasing the already insufficient space.

@@WillBravoNotEvil You shouldn’t need to pay the inflated prices of business class to not be uncomfortable. I’m a grad student, I can’t afford business class. Those that can are getting ripped off anyway… What is your problem with me?
