The headline of the video makes it sound like Karsta Lowe is tall compared to the rest of the team. But there are actually four girls on the team who are 6' 4", and five at 6' 3". Alexandra Klineman is the tallest at 194 cm (6' 4.375") In fact, at 5' 11.25", Molly Kreklow is the ONLY player on the USA team who is LESS than 6 feet tall . But since Tanith White is only 5' 4", they all look tall next to her.

This reporter also interviewed Glass and the head coach guy. The reporter didnt have to look up nearly as high at those two. But yeah some of those others you named looked almost as imposing too but Lowe was the high killer thus her being the one player White interviewed yesterday...

NUMBA1PROSPECT I do remember Lowe being far and away the high scorer (I just checked her stats - she had more than twice as many points as any of the other US players). I'm not sure how tall Karch Kiraly (the coach) is. Glass is only 6' 1/2", so yeah, a lot shorter than Lowe. I was looking at their personal details on the FIVB website to see who was the tallest. Of course, if you want REALLY tall, there's Dmitriy Muserskiy from the Russian men's team, at 218 cm (7' 2")! Poor little Tanith would have to stand on a chair to talk to him (of course, he's a nice guy, so he'd probably just sit down).

garrisonaw And either I read the roster wrong, or FIVB updated some of their stats, because now I see that Banwarth, Thompson, Miyashiro, and Davis are all also under 6'. Nicole Davis takes the shortest spot in the roster at 167 cm (5' 6"). We have a girl on our school's team that's only 5' 1". She also happens to be one of the best players we have - even though she's not the top scorer.
