I see a lot of girls around 5'8 or 5'9, which is considered taller than avg for women, refusing to date men shorter than them, possibly because they still have plenty of options. But in my experience as a 6'1 woman, when you're this tall as a woman you have to work through those insecurities or you just wont survive. Like the woman in this video I've had to learn to be comfortable in my skin because I always stick out no matter who's around me, so i'm probably more open to dating a 5'8 dude than a lot of 5'9 women would be. By having the camera above and shooting downwards at the man it makes him appear shorter and more diminutive, and by having camera lower and shooting up at the woman it makes her appear taller and more domineering. Most photographers will have their camera at their subject's eye level as it capture to most humanity and also give you an insight into the subject's world as you are seeing everything else in the photo (or video) as the subject would naturally see it. This can be especially useful when photographing or (video recording) children and will give much better results than just standing there and pointing you camera (or phone) down at them.

Yeah I feel you, I'm short too but I'm really slender so at least I look a bit taller because of that. I really don't care about my height though it doesnt define who I am at all and I actually LOVE how short I am it definitely has its advantages for sure. One of them being we can fit into tight spaces much easier and faster, we make EXCELLENT undercover cops/operatives since we blend into crowds really well with a smaller chance of being spotted, we move faster and the list goes on. You just gotta think of all the great things about being short like how we also live longer on average.

As a tall girl I relate so hard. I'm not as tall as the beautiful girl they interviewed, but I'm well above average. I find it so hard because no one views me as 'cute'. Tall girls get two options: hot and masculine, and it sucks. I went to a dance recently and I'm friends with people who are considerably shorter (5'3 and shorter, me being 5'11). I wanted to wear heels I had just bought, the issue they were 3 inches tall. I can't even stress how many people gave me weird looks and my guy friend even made a comment of how 'i looked ridiculous' just cause I was as tall as him. I relate so hard with feeling unfemine bc of the social stigma, I can't even imagine being a guy and dealing with all of that.
