I totally agree. Its left such an impression on me i dont even know how to feel about it. This cover changed the way i look at music, i feel like i could write an essay on how this has changed my life.

Lyrics: I've been out walking I don't do too much talking These days, these days These days I seem to think a lot About the things that I forgot to do And all the times I had the chance to I've stopped my rambling I don't do too much gambling These days, these days These days I seem to think about How all the changes came about my ways And I wonder if I'll see another highway I had a lover I don't think I'll risk another These days, these days And if I seem to be afraid To live the life that I have made in song Well it's just that I've been losing for so long I've stopped my dreaming I won't do too much scheming These days, these days These days I sit on corner stones And count the time in quarter tones to ten Please don't confront me with my failures I had not forgotten them

wonderful version by Tallest! But Blogotheque.... please please please, edit your title... since even tho Nico does a fine version, hers is also a cover... by the creator of the gem, Jackson Browne

This would be a Jackson Browne cover, not a Nico cover

I believe that Nico covered this song written by Jackson Browne before he recorded it. Jackson did write it and it has been since covered by my many people.

Is this considered a Nico song or Jackson Browne?
@RichDenmark4 жыл бұрын
Benjamin Cousino It’s Jackson Browne’s song. He wrote it when he was 16. But it was first recorded by Nico. Later when Browne himself gained acclaim as a performing artist and not just a writer he recorded a version himself on his second album.

@@RichDenmark "Because of the Night" is a Patti Smith song even though Springsteen wrote it. I imagine the same rule is applied here.
@RichDenmark4 жыл бұрын
@@TheRedScareIsAlive to be fair Bruce and Patti wrote that song together. It was most popular as a Patti Smith song though for sure. Though the Boss would also play it, can't recall if he ever recorded too or not.

@@RichDenmark Bruce wrote most of it and it was on a demo. Patti added to it after she heard it.

You either are the music...or your a poser... like a funny as hell comment, if the artist reaches out they are their music.. the rest are performers ( posers) it's about a buck and an idolization fantasy... When you take pretending to far... The reverberations can be painful...jmho

All affect and no depth. A disrespect to the songwriter...and to the song. Nice texture to the voice, but just tedious in the end.
