It reminds me of the most beautiful areas of the mountainous TN and NC!! You have such gorgeous areas near your home. Paradise. I love the drive there amongst the trees and cow pastures. And the two lovely coffee houses that you stopped at were just wonderful. Right up my alley. I would love them. And the second coffee house, those drinks looked glorious. Edible Pansies! Lovely. The hike was wonderful and I loved the teal colored waters and the beautiful water falls. I felt like I was actually there. What a wonderful day. Rob, I know you enjoyed your day. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. My 2 fake knees would be screaming at me but I'd have to do the hike. The pools at the bottom look so inviting but I am assuming they don't allow swimming in them. But thank you for taking us along on your beautiful hike. Happy Birthday Rob!!!!!

I'm not entirely sure of they do or not. I know they have permits if you want to go even further than we did. But it was all breathtaking to see no matter the vantage point.

We moved from Austin Texas to Denver Colorado in 2019, and by 2021 we were priced out of Colorado, I suggested Georgia disguised it as a vacation to Atlanta for the Aquarium, on the plane I spilled the beans about house hunting (May 2021). We were only off the plane 9 minutes before he was like "I can't do this, its sooo humid and hot here". LOL I was like we could live like Kings in Georgia. Together 18+ years. Happy Birthday Rob!

Nice trek to the river. Years ago my boyfriend and I took a raft trip down the Tallulah River Gorge though I don't think we would have gone over the falls. Maybe I'm thinking of a different area. Deliverance was filmed there, at least much of it. Looks like there need to be a few more benches along that climb up out of there! Happy birthday.

Happy birthday, Rob. That was a workout on those steps! I did the capillary suspension bridge here in Vancouver. I shouldn't have as I have a heart condition. It almost killed me. I was with my cousin and friend. They were on the other side, still waiting for me. As I was getting off this good-looking guy asked if I was OK. I quickly thought he is an off duty paramedic and will send me to the hospital. As I was trying to catch my breath, he tried to say hi again. All of a sudden, I yelled, will you just f**k off. He left, my breathing got better. My cuz and friend said, "Why did you yell at him? He was cute and hitting on you." I said I thought he was a paramedic. They laughed their asses off. My gay dar was out the window. I am already married. I keep thinking about him and wanted to apologize. Normally I am nice to people. I think I was just in a panic attack. My cuz has the same heart condition. We both said, never doing that again. Enjoy your youth to the fullest guys. Cheers.❤

Beautiful area. If I liked to fish................. Beautiful mountain home. So secluded. I love the mountains. Hope y'all can do a video when rhododendrons start to bloom. A snow video, too. I live about 50M S of Charlotte and haven't seen a single flake all winter. Wasn't much of a winter here. So nice to have such a wholesome Gay couple on utube. Role models. I would feel better if y'all armed yourselves just in case. Looks like bear country.

Definitely didn't have too much of a winter here either except for a few cold snaps and one day of flurries. Already seeing the rhododendrons moving closer and closer to spring, so we will be sure to document their arrival. And we're constantly on the lookout for bears in this area as we know there are a few around here. Cheers!
