Same thing happened with Lemon Demon a few months ago and it's still going on. All of the albums got replaced with versions that have really low quality covers. Fortunately you can still access the original releases, but on the profile page and on the Spotify Mix playlists it's the low quality ones. I don't know about the titles tho

I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of tally hall (and related) but I use distrokid to release my own music. I can say it seems low-key pretty easy to just release an album under the artist name, you can literally just put "Jack Stauber" (for example) and just release something under it.... I mean, I haven't really tried (duh lol) but I'd assume it's not really protected very much

not a tally hall fan, but i found this interesting. i looked at yt music and all the songs looked completely normal, including the dates. 😭 it appears the ones mentioned in this video are the only ones affected. hopefully this will get fixed :( edit: on mobile it says copyright 2012 on spotify, idk if this is abnormal but i thought I'd mention that. 🤠

@ All of the new duplicates on apple were reposted with higher quality to use Apple Lossless, I’m assuming this is only happening because the original ones were older and too low quality to use it, lossless takes more space which is why I’m not buying the new ones
