Yeah mostly I agree with you. In the past I would have said "I trust marvel to deliver" but these days they sort of have to win me over again, and I'm not sure this is the way to do it. I wouldn't be too mad if he was a stark variant, but it certainly wouldn't be a great move. There are SO many great actors out there who could do DOOM justice, so I hope they know what they're doing with this...

1:33 Well the Russo brothers said at the comic-con that Robert Downey Jr is THE Victor Von Doom in the MCU but also said that he's the only actor who can play the role (which I don't believe for a minute)

Y'know, when I first saw that RDJ's going to be Doctor Doom for the MCU? I was pretty stoked to see him return, but for his role as one of my favorite Marvel villains Doctor Doom besides Abomination,Rhino, and Juggernaut etc.? eh, it's not much of a casting I thought would happen but I think I'll handle it when Avengers: Doomsday comes out. Plus, in my defense? I'm kinda relieved that Doctor Doom's gonna be the main villain for Avengers: Doomsday instead while Galactus would also be the main villain for Fantastic 4 First Steps since while I did sorta thought that the toys were the cool part about Fantastic 4 (2005) and Rise of the Silver Surfer? I was sorta unknown about Dr. Doom's role in those 2 movies but was not too fond of his 2015 Fantastic Four movie counterpart tho' since he gave me the heebie jeebies when I first saw him imo😖

Great video. I'm mostly concerned that Doctor Doom will be unmasked most of the time in general, given how problematic it is for an actor to wear a mask in a live action film. Im thinking they will probably use a bunch of flash backs showing victor before the accident or (assuming the movie where Victor really shows up is commercially successful) the actor portraying Victor will demand to have more scenes without his mask if they try to negotiate a new deal.

The only thing I'm not a fan of regarding the casting and film title is that there wasn't proper build up towards Doctor Doom or a multiversal variant of Doom that looks like Tony Stark; however, I'll excuse it since we don't have all the pieces of the puzzle yet and obviously with what happened with Majors & having to shift to a different antagonist connected to Secret Wars. Overall I'm genuinely excited since my writer brain already can see what's going to be a big part of the film(s) story with the face of our greatest hero is now our biggest enemy.

Great I can’t wait 2 years for your review but talking about Robert Downey jr my problem is that we already had him as iron man he is our iron man like when I see him I see him as iron man our iron man those who grew up seeing him as iron man and just feels wrong but I don’t know how everyone else feels

No need to worry, after Avengers: Secret Wars the MCU will go into a soft reboot and a new Doctor Doom would be played by a different actor. Hopefully Cillian Murphy.

I’m skeptical about this but hey, It’s good that Marvel is giving what the fans really want unlike DC 😂

I personally don't agree with Robert Downey Jr. playing doctor doom. It should've been another actor perhaps younger, especially because I thought Victor Von Doom and Reed Richard went to college together. I just say a younger acting should have gotten the role

Do you think Tom Holland’s Spider-Man ruined the MCU and started the decline after Endgame.
@Talon_Productions5 ай бұрын
I do not! Love Tom Holland's Spider-Man.
@jovensworld20375 ай бұрын
But why though, why does he get a lot of hate, was it that his second and third film marks the decline of the MCU after Endgame.
@Talon_Productions5 ай бұрын
I've never understood the hate, like I said I love Tom Holland's Spider-Man! I also don't understand your point about his movies marking any decline in the MCU, I don't think I've seen anyone genuinely try to argue that.
