The monolith, a 12-foot tall vertical, metal prism, has disappeared from the red rocks of the southeastern desert late Friday evening, according to Bureau of Land Management spokesperson Kimberly Finch. In its place remains a pile of rocks and a smaller pyramid made from, what appears to be, the same material.

@@fautil, your theories have too many holes in it. *1)* Ritual? What kind of CLEAN ritual, that doesn't have any signs of traffic near it? One person, perhaps that can levitate? *2)* Sacrifice??? That is performed in a midair? Again, with no signs left after it? Some super clean freaks are doing it. *3)* If someone would want something done hidden away from people, they would have better chances doing it in much more secluded area like a cave or at least a forest, where you won't spot from the air so satellites wouldn't get an image of it. *4)* Like the money?? That's why they removed it? Where did they scribe an _All seeing eye_ on it and are they going to remove the triangle from the moneys too??? Just saying... 😉
