I believe that Tama is the sister of Kula, and Tojo’s mate. The two had Vitani. Zira stole Vitani and killed Tojo, leaving Tama alone. Over time, Tama healed from this event and became mates with Malka, her childhood crush. The two had Afua, Vitanis half-brother. Kovu is related to Vitani because Tama and Kula are sisters.

I also did have the same theory But a little different from your discription True that Vitani is Tama's Daughter But Kovu was eventually adopted Zira Kidnapped them at night Everything was going ok But straight after Vitani was Kidnapped the parents woke up so Zira had to kill Tojo instead of Tama because Tama was weak and couldn't Fight to protect her children And Zira, thus Kidnapped the Cubs This how I believe had happened Pls tell me if I make any mistakes 🖐🏻
