- Release date : ON July 28 first English color Tamagotchi , 2019 , Pix July 1, 2021 a complete re-design not upgrade
- Color selections : ON (Pink, Blue, Purple, Green, White, Wonder Garden Turquoise , Wonder Garden purple) Pix ( Green, Blue, Pink, Purple, Party Balloon, Party Confetti)
- Designs :
On same size and shape to meets similar themes to Meets,
Pix is thick big has cracked egg shell design, has camera and click button, no tactile buttons
- Features, gameplay, GOAL
On : mixing genes connect to app (mixing Meets app) can connect to Japanese Meets and marry different characters to get the most gorgeous looking character + twins (GOAL) , needs to connect with other device to unlock more things or connect to the app. Has different themes and locations to unlock
Pix: less demanding original Tamagotchi no mixing genes, can choose language, Different characters based on the Pix series (party gets more characters), Camera on the back to capture photos and play 17 mini games, career choosing Using QR codes to get items, new challenges on Tamagotchi website
Longevity
ON : no more official app , still can connect wirelessly using bluetooth , battery lasts long time
Pix : can only use QR code , battery don’t last long, lots of mini games less boring
Who is it for, which one is better?
SUMMARY
- Depends on your collection: beginner or long time collector
- Depends on what do you like : mixing genes or focus on having a pet/toy

Have you tried touching the left side of your circle on the pix? I find adult fingers are bigger then the kiddos. So with mine I usually press on the left side and it always responds!

Mine is kinda moody, sometimes it works even when I touched the upper part, however I think it also has something to do with batteries being low? Honestly I gave up on the pix haha 😂

No, Some version don’t have bluetooth but you can connect between devices using infrared ☺️
