They should make a Tamagotchi that has all the best features in the series. Like gene mixing, having a family and such other features.

I do miss the mixing genes features, but it's nice to just run different 'pre built' characters too. Maybe it could be a feature you can turn on or off.

I used to love the gene mixing feature but there were so many times that I didn't get the genes I wanted so I'm really bored of the ON/Meets right now.

The Smart and Uni batteries are 100% easily changeable, you can find replacements online and I've seen a guide on how to do it.

@@lil_wildboarInternal battery is cool, but I'm afraid we can't preserve our Tama for long time like other models. You always have to check your Tama in order not to let the battery drain. I'm still hesitating to buy one.

Just ordered a Uni as they easy to get in UK. My Smart has been great but it was hard to get hold of one here so all the text is in Japanese from import so yeah I might as well get one just for the English bit 😂

The On/Meets is hands down the best Tama yet, and I would love to see a new, more complex version of it soon. 🤞🎉

I really enjoyed them when they released, I just wish that they were released internationally like the Uni. Importing them was painful, the Meets wasn't too bad but the ON was really pricey to import when it was released.

Wow the tamagotchi pix is as big at the Tamagotchi friends. I thought they stopped making them huge due to being unable to fit on your pocket without hitting your leg. If anything I'd love them to release a Tamagotchi Uni 2.0 with it's only flaws fixed.

Actually, Pix is not more popular than other. But some Modes in Pix and interact with your Tama are really nice. I love the special moving when your Tama use the favorite items. Capture everywhere from living room to garden, job room, swipe your tama. They fly when they eat the favorite foods, snacks. I don't know why the remove all of them on UNI ? It's so boring if they like or not, the items just run heart and as same all the time.

I love the Pix, too. On the Uni, many fun features have been removed and Bandai didn't even add a turn off function for it. Do they really think we can eat and sleep with the Uni forever???😑That's frustrating.

No you're right, the material of the Uni screen is super bad quality, it scratches super easily. I too have taken really good care of it and it already has two scratches across the screen

The battery’s have atleast 500 charge cycles before degradation. I wouldn’t worry I don’t worry about my phone battery because by the time the battery is done it will be beaten up and time for a new one anyways lol

What you say at 7:30 is so true. I just got a mesutchi/osutchi transparent pair; they run amazing. There’s a slight crack on the top of shell of one, but other than that they’re literally pristine and run like new, they either don’t look like they’ve been played with or that they make them with lower quality material now. I only paid £27 for the pair, some of the other Japanese exclusive are crazy expensive now. Even now when i looked at the price of smarts, it’s £140 upwards :( wish i got one then. I got my uni recently, it was on the monster ticket release. It got marks so fast, i had to order screen protectors, the front of the shell has a small dent too

You’re right in that the screen on the Uni gets scratched very easily compared to the older ones. After less than a day, mine got a light scratch across it after being in my pocket only once :(. My Meets on the other hand, has no visible scratches and I played with it for months while also putting it in my pocket every day.

To be honest, everything about the Uni is a ticking time bomb. When the servers eventually shut down, a lot of the content (and updates, if you never updated to the latest version) will be suddenly gone. It happened with Furby Connect.

@@xTwilightWolvesx I totally agree with you. And one more thing I don't like about the Uni is it doesn't have a turn off function. It's quite annoying when I want to stop playing with it, I have to let the battery drain😮‍💨. That's why I bought only 1 Uni to explore the game play and I don't want to buy a second one.

I just received a Tamagotchi Smart Sanrio! The characters are so cute and really easy to take care of especially during busy work days 🥹💕 There’s also an English patch available which makes it more fun imo 🥰
