Great interview, you ask all the questions we “nosey people” wanted to hear. I’m glad she answered with grace, being vulnerable. At the end I don’t think she realized she spilled some hot tea!!! What I heard was “I was toxic and vulnerable, and I needed someone. He was attracted to my need for him. The show brought the toxicity to the forefront and it made us deal with it. Now that I’m in the process of healing it wouldn’t be the same relationship.” #deep

Can we name a positive black reality tv show? 🤔 Tia and Tamera, Run’s house, LaLa’s full court life, Fantasia for real, Flex and Shanice, Monica still standing, AND DESPITE THE ALLEGATIONS say what you want but TI and tiny family hustle as well as Tiny and Toya were all positive black shows. There’s more to reality tv besides love and hip hop, bad girls club, and real housewives. 🙄 Half of those positive shows aren’t even as popular BECAUSE they were so positive. What people are tuning in to 🤷🏾‍♀️ plays a part as well.

I agree wholeheartedly with Tamar in regards to people desperately wanting to be famous and signing up for things at all cost. I also think it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that a person’s good and bad traits that are filmed can be used anyway a media company wants. I think you have to take all that into account before you sign up instead of just hoping for the best.

Tamar harbors no resentment toward David, its clear. However, we saw what we saw as far as his personality goes, outside of that show and his behaviour during Tamars suicide situation. I think she is careful what she's saying because of the restraining order he took out against her. I feel she can't just say what she wants to.

I think this has got to be one of the best interviews I’ve seen with Tamar. I also know that with reality tv the goal is to get the story or creat a story! This isn’t hear say and this is me providing inside information. Drama sells and if there is some drama and the cast brings it up or slips up an investigation is done. If there are rumors the job is to find the source and that source may now a surprise guest on the show. The curve ball creates a real reaction hints reality tv.
