Hi Tamara. I have been following you for a bunch if years now, and since the robbery happened to you I got really concerned about this situation. Can I ask you if you got paid by the insurance for everything you got stolen? And in case yes, after having back some of the stolen items, what have happened with the insurance? Did you hace to give it back? I am sorry for the questions, but this really worries me as I imaging myself dealing with the same problem. I did not get 1 cent from the insurance because of the clause that I had In it... That was also a lesson learned now....most of the people I know also didnt get money from insurance in Paris.

Wow this was a wonderful update and we appreciate your openness and strength. I have been robbed 3 times and it was heart breaking. One time I cashed my Christmas bonus check and pay check at the bank and took the cash out to Christmas shop. I went straight from the bank to work. I had left my purse in my car at work. Parked close to the front door and ( I know I’m so stupid for leaving the bag in my backseat on the floor, tucked under the seat) I was only 19 yrs old. And I have never had that much cash before and I was scared to bring my bag into work. I left work and my car was broken into, purse stolen, stereo stolen and even my FLOOR MATS! who steals car floor mats? I was devastated and it ruined my Christmas

I really resonated with your story and felt your pain and trauma. I was scammed out of my life savings a year ago and it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I have recounted things so many times now and no one can help because it was crypto. The bank nor the police. I was heartbroken, felt like this wasn’t reality…like my world was collapsing. I had PTSD for about 8-9 months after. Therapy has helped a lot. I’m trying to rebuild. I fear my story will not have the same ending as yours but I’ve made peace with it and left it behind me. At the end of the day, it’s just money. But I hate that these people will never face justice and will probably do this to someone else.

I did learn to let go of my anger of the violations to my home and the loss after a few years. During the pandemic, I went back and watched all of your previous videos also - so you help me get through the pandemic! Earlier in the video, I think you really hit on something. You said that sometimes you don’t feel like you’re getting anywhere because success takes a long time. I think without them, your case would have taken much longer, or worse case, never solved considering your bags went international (Paris to USA, Morocco, and most likely other countries). I feel like this vlog is a “homecoming”, also where i started watching. For you to be in Brighton and deliver the news of the robbery, the rude low character off people…and to think about how your life catapulted after those events!
