This is absolutely nuts and I love it. I honestly had no idea the Chao Garden went *this* deep, I've never even seen a Chaos Chao before. The Sonic Adventure games really were two complete games in one, and as you said, they feed into one another so well, too. Also, I am so glad you included the full vintage A-Rank run in the video.

10:37 I'm still in the process of watching it, but I legit used to do this as well. But more like I would listen to MCR and then imagine Sonic would be running next to me on the long drives. I would imagine him jumping, weaving, grinding rails, and then when Shadow was unlocked, it was even more epic with the battles in my mind. I already are so invested in this video.

I played the Sonic Adventure games for the first time last year. When it came to doing the Chao activities I recalled that years before I had seen your tips and tricks video on the subject. Finding it again was very nostalgic and I used it as a jumping off point to be able to complete what I wanted to do. Seeing this new video, knowing that your passion for Chao has never yielded over time, is wonderful. I just wanted to express my gratitude for being a big part of my Chao journey.

OMG I have literally just gotten back into the chao garden this past week and was thinking about that video you did years ago showing off your garden and how much it made a lot of the chao raising stuff less intimidating to me since it always seemed so complicated as a kid. I'm only 6 minutes in and I already am fascinated, makes me wish I kept my OG childhood saves. I lost my favorite Chao named "Baby Joe" because its happiness wasn't high enough and a chaos Chao because a friend who knew nothing about Chao let it run away in the Tiny Chao Garden. After that I stopped caring and ruined the game with Action Replay, that's what's saved on my childhood memory cards now. Maybe there's some untainted ones there still but I'd never be able to tell at this point

Yo, I'm 32. I've been going through a wave of nostalgia lately, playing old games and watching old shows. This whole Chao garden thing really sent me back. I used to love the Chao garden so much, me and a friend would draw our own gardens on paper and make a black market with items and Chao for sale. We'd take the erasers off pencils to represent the chao, I remember one being white with red stripes, we were always on the lookout for unique pencil erasers to be new Chao. I remember one of the items for sale in our made up gardens was a racecar that we made out of one of those trapezoid erasers. XD Love this video and the long videos you posted recently on Pokémon too. You're the best for this! 💯

I never engaged with the Chao Garden myself because I didn't grow up with Sonic Adventure, but ever since I watched Cybershell's "What the Hell are Chao?" I've grown to appreciate the nuances of the system and respect the effort of those going for their perfect blorbos lol. (Great video for anyone else like me who has little to no experience with the Chao Garden.) A cute creature husbandry game with rich and expressive breeding and cultivation mechanics like the Chao Garden would be really popular if done well, but I'm not aware of any. I wonder if we'll see the Stardew Valley of the Chao Garden. Thanks for the fun video Tama! It was nice hearing you talk about your lil guys

The tails chao I'd picked up on my american copy using my copy of PSO 1+2, and even helped write guides on how to do the fake in yellow quest! Unfortunately the Knuckles and Amy chap are locked to the japanese version of the game, i even tried to transfer them using a japanese tiny chao garden. Still a lot of fun to chill and relax with the babies! Great video!

I think my perfect Chao game would be a mix between sa1 Hub worlds and sa2 battle Chao stuff with a smidge of animal crossing. I imagine a sort of city builder where you can run around an area crafted by the player as a sonic oc and your Chao inhabit this area and kinda act like villagers. Thier happiness is gauged by how your city is maintained. Animals are collected by providing habitats for them. Mini games would win you better stuff to build your little Chao city. I think I would love a game like that.
