@@guitarmaniac004 I just meant in terms of the sound, a lot of Tame Impala sounds like a modern dark side to me, mainly because of the production. If you listen to Any Colour You Like on dark side I feel like it could be on a Tame Impala album
@guitarmaniac0046 жыл бұрын
oh yeah you're absolutely right. The production between the two is definitely similar!
@larkstonguesinaspic48146 жыл бұрын
@@Gremunky there is some similarities between Tame Impala and some of the psychedelic works of Pink Floyd but not really with the more Progressive PF albums like Animals or The Wall. I'd say Tame Impala has it's own unique sound, sure it takes inspiration from psychedelic rock albums of 60s but You can't really say it sounds like any particular band, I'm sure years from now there'll be plenty of bands that we'll say " hey that really sounds like Tame Impala "

Hey everyone, just a quick head's up, I'm trying something a little different this time around. I took the backstory section out of the review and made it a separate video, mostly to keep the runtime down for the review section. I will be premiering the backstory video next week, so stay tuned! And finally, I just want to let you all know that this is one of the hardest reviews I ever wrote. It took me about two years to make it and I rewrote it two times before I ended with the review above. Thanks so much for watching this review.
@larkstonguesinaspic48146 жыл бұрын
I love the review, Thought I think it's better to keep the backstory in the video but keep it short, like only one or two minutes, and also get to do more reviews. But given the fact you put so much effort into your videos and how professional this channel looks I can't complain. Btw it'd would be cool to review Melody's Echo Chamber album after this since there's a connection.
