Tame Impala is my favorite artist of all time. I love how his influence stretches all the way to hip-hop, this is I believe the fourth hip-hop song I’ve heard thats sampled off some of Kevin’s work. I’m not a Lil Yachty fan per se, but I like what he did here. In the future I definitely want to experiment with sampling some of the groovy psychedelic synths Kevin is known for into my own rap music. He’s such a musical genius and icon. I’m excited to see where the next artist takes some of his work to.
