i dont think so ajith is such a guy. he himself said neither if them try to interfere in each others matters. Ajith might have requested to finish the movie before marriage alaathe he wont interfere in her choices. shalini herself was bat to quite cinema. she herself told she never thght cinema as a career and value family life more than a career as an actress. its not easy to manage both and its nt easy to be in cinefield post marriage especially in that era. Even jyothika took a break post marriage . so does kajol ... but both came back nd strtd acting. so dnt put blame on Ajith.
