Tamil is not just a language , it has got its own custom and culture. As a whole we are Hindus but still , there are large diffs between our cultures. Unfortunately the people who don't practice our culture , are calling themselves as Tamilan . How come it is possible??.... Tamil God is murugan ,some people are calling them Sathan and sithan. Tamil people have their own family God despite other common god , but people who don't have such thing are also calling them as Tamilan. One can be a Tamil speaking person in Tamilnadu but not a Tamilan unless they practice our culture.

I wonder why would one be taking pains to defend a Nation which is consistently killing Indians through terrorism. I just wish your observation on Pakistan is true; but that is not the case. Everywhere non-Muslims are discriminated against in Pakistan, and no equality for them. Not even equal voting rights (Non-Muslims could only elect a minority representative). Yes, I am Tamil bro. I can write, read, and speak Tamil fluently with better accent alhamdulillah. I studied in a Tamil medium school for 13 years. Even I can only speak Tamil and English. Here in Sri Lanka we most of the Muslims don't skip to learn Tamil. We are not like some people from Tamil Nadu who thought speaking or studying Tamil is a shame. Tamil is a compulsory subject in our schools too.

I have met Tamils in Karachi and they told me that their ancestors migrated to Karachi before the independence in 1947. They number few thousands and many work at the Jinnah Hospital near their neighborhood. The Tamil Muslims have completely integrated with the Karachi's Urdu speaking community. While the Hindu community have temples and still speaks Tamil at home.

Pandyas who are in the plains destroyed the forest Lands for Cultivation which is opposed by Mountain Kuravas.
