Taming Any Farm Dam

In this episode we headed just outside of Ventersdorp to a small farm dam called Ratsegai kraal, previously known as Misty Lakes. This venue is open to the public but an appointment needs to be made, since it’s privately owned. We show you how to approach this (and any other) farm dam. To protect the environment, everyone is responsible, I often go fishing, see a lot of people littering, especially in summer, a lot of flies and smell, I often see to help them pick up the garbage, I think, they are not at home so littering.

Lekker video's Loutjie. Baie handig en interessant. Ek gebruik 'n hele paar van jou produkte. Een nota, die woord "gruis" in Afrikaans, vertaal as "grit" in Engels. "Grid" vertaal as "ruit" of "ruitpatroon". "Ruitpatroon" maak ook amper sin nou dat ek daaraan dink.

Instead of counting fast ,you can count 1001, 1002, 1003 etc.

Ons het ook n plaasdam en nooi gewoonlik vriende. 3 van hulle is ook baie groot visvangers en het al 26kg karp gevang. Die dam is bietjie groter as rietvlei

Loutjie we have a dam close to us where the carp are anywhere between 5 and 15kg but we cannot seem to catch them they are always jumoing always visible but nobody can catch them any advice????
