Right, so many of our black community feels that way. I wouldn't expect anything other than what he said and did. Our community is broken and toxic. He has no class, poise, and is undignified like so many of our men. He is an embarrassment and a shame to our community. Not just because of what he said about the LGBTQIA community but because he raps about women in a negative way, he has hit women, he has hit fans. He's trash and feeds tbe stereotype that our black men are ignorant, unsophisticated, and a burden on our community. Men like him make me embarrassed of our community and of being half black. I'm just saying there's nothing glamorous about hauling a heavy box of candy around trying to make a buck. It just spreads quicker because men will be men gay or straight and they tend to be reckless when it comes to sex. A lifestyle with a bunch of men, there's bound to be a lot of casual sex. But it does NOT come from being gay.

I 100% agree. I also agree with you that the LGBTQ has to stop taking ownership of things people say and that doesn’t mean they can’t have an opinion about it but HIV/AIDS affect a community at large not just a specific group and I understand that people may have targeted the LGBTQ with their own opinions but I agree with you that it was insensitive to everyone and regardless of you have the disease or not people’s families or friends may have. The issue miss Tami isn't that the lgbt community take on the weight of the HIV epidemic, it's that when Black straight men reference it they're more often than not using it as anti gay rhetoric, even in his response he directed it towards his "gay fans." Among the cis straight community especially the downlow community the use of HIV in conversation is used to gaslight the lgbt community. What TS Madison wanted to know was WHAT HAPPENED to make him use rhetoric that would gaslight the lgbt community at a time and in a place where it was so unnecessary. Paired WITH his statement about car felatio it just was a moment of Gas lighting and based on TI's response it transferred to the audience he wanted it to transfer to the exact was he wanted it to.
