Tamiya 1/35 Quad Gun Tractor Part 2

This is part 2 of the ongoing build series of the Tamiya 1/35 British 25PRD. Field Gun & Quad Gun Tractor. The first few episodes are building the Quad Gun Tractor. After the tractor is complete I will move on to building the field gun etc. This is an older kit but a good quality kit by Tamiya that has great details, easy to assemble, and makes a nice display model.

Thanks Chris! The water you see is the Stanislaus River just up the highway from where I live in Northern California. It is north of Yosemite around 20 miles.

Can anyone give advice on gluing tiny bits to painted sections? For example, the exhaust pipes to the engine. I have no idea how to sand such a small circle of the engine so it sticks and I have a hard time holding it still long enough to work through the paint

It depends. Are the surfaces painted with enamel or acrylic paint? I use Tamiya Extra Thin Cement and glue acrylic painted surfaces together all the time. You can try scraping some of the paint off the surfaces with an exacto blade for better stickness.

CA glue can also work well with smaller painted parts.
