So happy that others have the same issue with the infini circle board lol, I figured it was just my inability to trace circles haha. This is looking amazing as usual Sean! Awesome work man. It will be interesting to see the smoke shading...that's a really good idea.

Hi Sean, a tip for very sharp demarcation lines - here between radome and fuselage: If you are afraid of creeping paint under your masking, let it creep, but with the correct color. You masked off the NATO black, so spray or paint some NATO black on the radome. This paint might ( or might not) creep undr your masking. But if it does, its the same black thats already there. Butthe black seals the intersection radome/fuselage with paint. The follow up radome paint cannot creep anymore under the mask, because the black sits there… The result are very sharp demarcation lines and no worries o creeping paint whatsoever - because the apint that did creep was the same as under the mask 😉 Good video as usual, like your color scheme choice.

For circles the Dispae circle cutter is the way to go.

Great video again Sean. On your old videos you had some great music at the end when you show the stills of the results, now there's only silence. Has copyright got you or is the juice not worth the squeeze?

@@seanunwin1170 I edit on imovie which has included copyright free soundtracks but occasionally KZbin will still flag them as copyright violations. That’s not really a big deal as it’ll usually warn me during the upload and I can just silence that part. All of that said, I just didn’t add any in this series yet because I’m only showing a few pics…I’ll add the music for the final video where I have a longer slideshow.

You can do the blue gray white camo, but with WA airbase not AK. It is a flaw in artwork I know because I wanted to do the same scheme

I couldn't help noting your comment on 3 colour camo's. Check out on Google British Army Berlin Brigade urban camouflage. I painted a 1/35 Takom Chieftain tank this colour. You will need a lot of coffee and about 3 miles of Tamiya masking tape. I only just finished it before the men in white coats arrived!! Your model looks great. My next jet is the Zoukei Mura F4 J Navy, when I get to painting I am going to ask the wife to get her bra off so I can check out the smoothness - I'll probably just get a slap!!!

have you tried the MRP or Mr Color lacquers? I was wondering your thoughts. They have most of the FS camo colors, no mixing.

@@Plydrms no I haven’t. I’ve heard that they’re pretty good. I started off with Tamiya and have built up a lot of it so I hate to switch now.

@seanerk5kt9 ok. I'm trying MRP and Mr Color lacquers. MRP is already thinned for airbrushing. I think it's a bit too thin, ok if you gradually build up. Mr Color you have to thin, but can control the consistency. It does dry semi-gloss however.

P-2 has hard demarcation line between white/gray. The old kit has raised panel lines and rivets. I taped with Tamiya but got a little leakage. Do you see this masking with raised panel, rivets? thanks

hey, how do you handle gaps between canopy and fuselage? I potentially have a larger gap in the front of a P-2 Neptune. Should I build up with micro Cristal clear, or putty it?..thanks

It just depends on the size of the gap. If it’s large I’ll use some sort of filler but if it’s small I’ll just use micro crystal clear

Painting over the clear light lenses is certainly an option, or personal preference. But why not mask them with masking fluid? Peace and love.
