@@FullOnRC So far i only have the plasma edge but i have a nice feeling about these two, although all my friends consider them out of date.

@@tofathi195 Many Tamiya are out of date inregards to modern Rc's, but to me that is what makes them interesting. I would rather have classic car, I.e real car over a Telsa anyday. :)

It's a great build Paul. You can upgrade to ball diffs via the torque splitter set but it's quite expensive though. Recommend the use of JIS screwdrivers if you don't currently use them. They are slightly different to Philips and I've had the issue previously of rounding of the screw heads.

Thanks for the tip, yerhh I was looking at them and other upgrades. Cheers for tuning in @MeMelton77

Having had one of these when they first came out I recall they were very heavy due to all the rose joints and other metal parts so no good for racing, but what a beautiful model :-)
@FullOnRC2 жыл бұрын
Yep that is a fact, and it's pretty hard to fit any kind of decent motor too. It is also very frail. It's a shame.

@@glennbowden9846 good stuff. My Dad was into trains when I was a kid. Grew up around models and creative people. So happy to return to my roots with Tamiya. Although I did enjoy the large scale, but my pocket didn't.

Watched the whole video. Is the kit fully bearing. And they have a upgraded steering kit did you think of trying that. But other wise was enjoying it fully and it came out great.
@FullOnRC3 жыл бұрын
Cheers @Robert Longley. The kit is fully ball raced apart from the steering. I did look into the upgrade kit and the only place I can get it seems to be Tamico or something and you have to spend something like 4160 dollor before they ship to the UK. I have found some og the Egress parts on Ebay so if I do it I may have to buy all parts seperate. Thanks for watching Bud.
