Great job on the four link suspension I was about to give up on finding one for the bruiser then I found yours. I saw were you listed length of the tubes but what is the length or make of the shock absorber thanks for the help.

Thank you Tim Troy. The length of the front shocks is 65mm (ca 2.5 inches) and the rear ones are 85 mm (ca 3 3/8 inch) They are just some shockabsorbers i had which fitted nicely. Good luck, and i hope this works out for you.

No video of the conversion, but it has been done with threaded rod and aluminium tubing from the hardware store,and some shocks and parts i already had. If you pause the video you can see where the parts connect. It is not really hard to do,you can make your own version and try out what works best. Good luck.

Yeah, i had the Sand Scorcher, but the Super Champ was the more Racing version of the Sand Scorcher and the Rough Rider.

Are you using the stock axles? Where did you mount the links and shocks? Is it really have to be 4 links in front and 4 at the back?

Thanks for your reaction. Yes they are the stock axles, no extra holes were made. If you pause the video you can see where the links and shocks have been mounted. With 2 links the axle could move sideways, with 4 not so much. Hope this helps.

Frank, those Links are just Threaded ends (from the Hardware Store, just like the Alu Tubing) with Aluminium Tubing over them. Similar to the Steering rods, but with the extra Alu tubing to cover the threaded rods. Hope this helps. Good luck,they are not difficult to make.

How long threaded ends did you use?

The top ones are 12,6 cm,and the lower ones are 13,7 cm.That is measured from the center of the moutinghole to the center of the other mountinghole (that is the TOTAL Length of the Link including the Rod ends that connect to the axle and the frame). You can adjust the length of the threaded rod first,and then cut the Alu tubing to size to make it look nice. Good luck.

Hi Russel. This project was to see if i could make a 4-link suspension work out on a Bruiser ,but i did not put in the steering servo at that time and still have not. But i think i would have placed it above the front axle between the chassis beams.
