Bleach strips chrome off plastic really well with no damage to the plastic at all. Just drop the part into the bleach and walk away for a couple of hours to let the bleach do its job. Wash the part off in water and it's ready to paint.

nice upgrades I have a hauler kit I havent started yet still finishing off a few ertl 1/16 diecast rc tractor conversions before I crack the box open on the hauler..I've subbed to follow back on these vids good work bud thumbs up also

First thing when you buy a tamiya truck is change the motor..55 turn is the best way to go…metal axels,aluminum wheels etc etc…2000$ later I will be happy☝️

When the motor was running backwards, couldn't you reverse the thrortle on the transmitter or connect blue-yellow yellow-blue? I mean it is simpler. Anyways, awesome video. You should get a trailer!

Reversing the channel wouldn’t work, the ESC calibration would cancel it out. Swapping the wires is in effect what I did, except I swapped them at the motor so the wire colours match up end to end. As for the trailer, stay tuned ;)

For Tamiya kits they usually come from Modelsport, or from a UK based eBay seller if there’s a particularly good deal going. As for worth, a built up truck with lights, radio etc. usually go for £800 second hand. The trick I think is to build it up slowly and add parts a bit at a time, that way you don’t get the big sticker shock on the first order!
