I got myself a grand hauler a couple of days ago, and am using your videos as well as the manual to build mine. I've hit a little snag though as I don't have good quality bearings, (I don't want to use the ones supplied) or the grease tamiya give in the kit, (again I want to use high grade silicone lube for the diffs and gear box.) I really am enjoying your videos, keep them coming.

The stickers on the air tanks are your State Tax. Most individual States require you to pay road tax to operate in the State, the sticker is proof of your tax. The numbers on the fuel tank are your Federal DOT and ICC registration numbers. You need to have those to operate your commercial vehicle as a business, and if you intend to operate across State lines.

Hey, why did you need those washers at 9:14? Do those come in the kit?

It's easier to set the arm position while the windscreen's out. To make the the dash and steering wheel are still at the right height the nylon washers space it off roughly the same amount the windscreen does. When the windscreen goes back in we don't reuse the washers

the first few seconds with the white unpainted body I thought "damn, it even looks fine in pure white" :D

when i had my king hualer brushed i ran the servo and motor wires under the seat plate. now its brushless and i didn't do that.

Ahh, the small bits! So, you made that plate in the Cab, for the wires to run under? Clever! 😉 Do you have dimensions? All I heard was the screws that you used..... Nick, I really enjoy ALL your videos, even some of the Dron-ey stuff, which doesn't interest me much. I do like planes. My Dad flew the SR-71 Blackbird! I never stop getting chucked over that. I do like your channel. You're just a fun sounding dude!! (Side note: as much as I LOVE flight, I have been advised by wifey that ONE more Hobby, may cause pain & divorce!!)😲😲😜 I'm probably going to have to sell my daughter if I have any hope of finally getting a 1/14 Semi!! But GAWD I want one.... I've a *minor* issue with the driver...... Out of hundreds of videos, I have yet to see the driver actually being painted. 😕😦 I can paint bodies - sheet "metal"... human bodies, notsomuch. I would like to see one or two being done - in real time. pls? ~ Carmine

Thomas Rupesinghe - SURE DID! 1969-1974. He flew the defining Mission in 1974, that ended the Yom Kippur War, and prevented Nuclear escalation!
