I love this series, especially your childhood story. I had a Frog in '85 and remember the build well. It took me ages! Seeing that MSC brought back a lot of memories. I had no help and one of the things with these builds is understanding how it all works, I'd never rigged a servo before and had to figure it all out. Same with the gearbox, took me forever! One thing with the MSC is you've got motor braking available through the reverse, and it's _instant_ and that can be a lot of fun for breaking the rear wheels loose.

I struggled with those tires then finally on my last tire I noticed the difference in the small screws, I thought some just threaded on easier then others when really it was the two sizes mixed up, so I wasn’t happy I had to redo the tires

Bringing back memories from May of this year I think we did first buildoff, I have a spare 13 or 15 turn brushed motor by dynamite n was thinking of putting it in grasshopper or the lunchbox, if I put in lunchbox I’d take the lunchbox 540 n put that in the grasshopper would it work or fit? Which way would u do it. I also have a 12 turn titan traxxas motor if the 550 won’t fit

Ok so put the 540 stock silver can in from the lunchbox to replace the 380 or 390 it has n put the 550 can 15 or 13 turn in the lunchbox, or use the 540 can 12 turn titan in the grasshopper n then I won’t need to touch the lunchbox, or put the 12 turn 540 in the lunchbox? Sorry if I’m confusing

STEVO D 313 I’d go 540 in the Grasshopper and see how she goes, a lot depends where you’re running her. However stick anything in the Lunchbox 😂😂😂. It’s great fun no matter what 🏎💨💨

Hello, any tips for the wheels to come off? I have an 80's Grasshopper, rebuilt it recently, noticed the wheels are not in the best shape.. Planning to put some foam inside them wheels to reshape them?.. having a hard time getting them off.. Thanks!

You talk about plastic, I have just rebuilt a buggy I brought that was new and had been built. There was sharp bits of plastic every where but I always do a complete rebuild as do not trust anyone. They do have it easy today, as we used to squeeze in all that electrics and 4AA battery holder in before the BEC invention. You do say easy to build but if it's your first kit daunting.
