Have to live my old rc life through people like you…i gave away everything i had and i raced with wife and son for 10 years in the 90s. I remember replacing the mechanical speed control for my 1st electronic…what a moment!

The Grasshopper looks really sharp out on the track! I just finished rebuilding my 10+ years rerelease Grasshopper with a good clean and a 540 motor. Anyway thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!👍🇸🇪🇺🇸

Oh, man, that is good times with that old Grasshopper! And that track is really nice! I think I only subscribed to you quite recently, I haven't watched so many videos, I think I need to go back and see if I can find a video with that track and something faster on it, ha ha! I would probably also make a couple little extra plywood jumps if I had a track like that, ha ha!

Thanks for the compliments on the track. It's a constant work in progress. Trying to improve it without getting too crazy. It's small enough not be a constant maintenance nightmare yet big enough to be fun.

Servo horn cut down on rear suspension block screw, rotate as a lever, bam, no more battery falling out.

Man that's running great. Here's a video of how I stopped my battery door from falling off. Hopefully it helps you. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joWlZoCej9t3q6s

Thanks...I'll check your video out. It's strange...I've not had that issue so far. The battery fits so tight in the battery box which doesn't help.
