I should do an updated video but ive since switched to a tamiya f350 highlift transmission since it has a built in transfer case. I did lift up the trans higher to give better clearance for front driveshaft. I just got creative with how to mount the trans to frame.

@@DieselJunkie12v Thanks for your reply, the front axle is wider then the rear one ? I put on my scania then had to shorten the knuckles to look acceptable.

@@ThucNguyen86 for the front wheels i used the INNER of the dual rear wheels so i had the hex drive. That put the track width right where it should be.

hi there, I'm gonna be making my globe liner a 6x6 soon. I was thinking of using a yota front axle and a transfer case. another way of diff locking, is to use a hot glue gun, but leave the grease in when you put the hot glue in. it's easier to remove from the diffs if you ever want to open them up again. however I locked my rear diffs using the same method as you. with both of your diffs locked up, did you have any trouble pulling a heavy load, or getting it moving. liked the video, keep em comin plz. 😀 👍 👍

Mikey mike no trouble with pulling or getting rolling. Grabs a lot better. only trouble is with a very heavy load it doesnt like to turn on grippy surfaces.

4x4-Off-Road-Devil yeah, that's what I thought, but someone else said that you have trouble starting off with a heavy load if both rear diffs are locked. as this is my first tamiya truck, i didn't know, I've locked both diffs on my truck as I want to go off road with it and make it a 6x6 like your's. 😀

Front axle is a Tamiya tlt 01 front axle. Transfer case is a lesu transfer case. All parts i got off ebay.
