The crash compilation was a decent representation of 90% of my lunchbox driving skills. I am relieved to see that even highly skilled professionals such as yourselves, also have the occasional bump.

I think for only basic ramps it wasn’t bad by place to visit 🛹

Wow thats some great driving there. I couldn't bring myself to run my RC cars if the track or road is wet. I was almost going to say you sure had some good luck with no crashes until i saw the outtakes. Honestly its really painful to see all these crashes. 👍👌

Tamiya Tough! They are more durable than you think, and can handle a bit of a bashing, its also fun then to fix and upgrade these, so you can go out and give them some stick again 🤣😅

I was cringing the entire last few minutes of that.... some of those were rough! glad you threw them in though, talked me out of going to the skatepark with mine! It does look like fun though.

It’s the noise they make sliding across the ground on its roof 🎧

The great thing about lunch boxes is they will continue to bravely make attempts at obstacles, no matter the odds against them. Unless a wheel comes off 😂

That’s very true, plucky to the end. I’d imagine it would have tried it’s best on 3 wheels but I think it deserves new boots 🥾 😆

Wow you were brave boys taking Tamiyas to a skate park. It is generally the death of RC cars although you seem to have got away with it apart from that slight loss of a wheel at the end. On another subject I know that you have been contacted by someone we shall call 'The RC Elf' offering to buy you something for your channel. Just to let you know that he is a genuine guy who has bought kits for me and other channels including Mark Bryan, RC Hobby Shed, RC Kicks etc. He doesn't want anything in return. He's just spreading a bit of RC joy :-) You will be having a Scorching good time before you know it. Enjoy!

I think we were lucky that the weather was pants, I was worried the ‘youths’ would be territorial, even with our Fido Dido disguises! Big Kahuna Burger Lunchbox is now back in action, for how long is to be seen. Yes I was surprised by being contacted by the RC Elf, and I am amazed by the kindness, must admit, also excited as a 6 year old, just hope I don’t have to leave it in the box till Xmas 🎅 (I won’t be) 😆😂

@@RCsoandso Oh yeah I have never seen our skate park without surly youths hanging about so I avoid it. Yes it is amazing what kind people are about. It's not like we were talking about you behind your back. Ok it is a bit like that :-) Great choice with the Scorcher. Worth it just to stare at the box art. I'm interested to know if the Chief Engineer is a friend or family member. I'm assuming that you guys want to remain anonymous by the fact that you use nicknames but I was interested in how you know each other and got back into RC?

We are friends, from back when we were surly youths! We always go to gigs together over the years, and we have always had an interest in RC, but I started to look at getting a Lunchbox as I always wanted one as a kid, so I watch a lot of KZbin videos on the subject and thought it would be good to document our adventures also. He is the technical one, hence the name. We didn’t start out to be that anonymous, it’s just that we don’t want our rugged good looks to take anything away from the cars 😂😆😆😆

@@RCsoandso oh yeah we all gloss over the fact that we were once the surly youths when we are slagging off the current ones. It's cool that you guys have got back into the hobby. It's easy for chaps to become unsociable in middle age if they haven't got some sort of hobby to do together. I look forward to seeing your new purchase. As ever it's the body shell that takes all the time if you are going for anything like box art. The elf has got me the Volvo Hauler 6WD. It will be on my channel soonish. I've got an unboxing of the Hornet kit I bought for myself a couple of weeks back first 😁

The skate park was on the location list for a long time it took a while to find the right one that was big and clean enough to find all the parts of the cars when they dropped off 😂 the lunchboxes did amazing I did slam it into a ramp face first but it survived luckily, I can’t get over the generosity of the RC elf it’s gestures like that that make you realise how lucky we are with everything going on. We are very grateful thank you. And as for me and the chief of R&D we’ve lead a very rock n roll life style he turned up on my couch many years ago and I’ve never been able to get rid of him 😂
