Great Volvo Del. This is what I like about Kamtec - they make car shells that other companies haven't even heard of, with the option of hard bodies too.

Kamtec are brilliant, aren't they? I even like the fact that they don't provide stickers with every shell. I enjoy fashioning door handles and indicators and stuff for them.

Hello James - yes, when the camera, wasn't in use, I did drive it really fast, and it was great fun, but it reminded me that this M-06 dies need oil shocks. It would handle fine till I ran over a rough patch while turning...and then the rear end would overtake the front!

Do you remember him? Wouldn't it be great if Kamtec did a P1800 shell? I do love finishing Kamtec classic car shells as road going vehicles rather than as banger racers. How are you? I thought of you the other day when I found a pair of Moggie Minor van shells I bought a few years ago, to use to make a Minor pickup. You and I do love our pickups, don't we?

Great choice Del. I remember the Amazon well. I believe the early versions were 6 volt. So yours is probably even closer to scale there. Your right I don't remember the roof being quite so 'chopped', but it does have a meaner look as a result. Good choice of wheels & inventive details. A friend of mine used to have an Amazon & I'm sure I got a lift home in an estate version one New years. But that was a very blurry memory....😵
@Del350K42 жыл бұрын
I think they were 6 volt, so at 7.4 I'm pretty close to scale - "you're right there! I'd forgotten about the estate version. I'd love to have one now!

Yes, I like it! Very, very nice! 😊😊1966 I bought a mossgreen 122S with 90 hp and four speed gearbox plus electric overdrive. That was a fast car! 😈😈Think I sold it 1969, or I actually traded it for a Saab 95 2-stroke, that was a bit cheaper to own. Nice to see you like the Amazon!👍👍

Hello! I know that this video will attract few views, but I suspect that it'll be the only RC Amazon vid on KZbin for a long time, and I wanted to show that not all old Volvos are rectilinear boxes! I'm glad you've owned an Amazon, and I bet that you wish you still had the 2 stroke Saab!

@@MarkBryanRC I've gone from three cameras to one, as one of my two identical Fujimax shockproof/waterproof cameras has stopped working, and my GoPro was on the ill-fated Grey Ghost speedboat which was lost at sea last summer. I replaced the GoPro with a generic action cam but I don't like the image quality and only use it for brief cab interior shots. I will eventually have to buy some new equipment, I suppose. I just like my old, familiar cameras - I get fond of them...
