@@rcinhand9671 Well there used to be one like this in the 80's before the Lunchbox and it has Ford Ranger wheels. I think that they wanted this to be the modern version of that.

The oil shocks and the metal body posts are worth it. The price comes out to about a Midnight Pumpkin when you buy the wheels.

With the Lunchbox / Midnight Pumpkin wheels you simply switched your "Pajero" to a 58499 Tamiya "Montero Wheelie" ... but with oil filled shocks. More than 30 years back I ran my Tamiya Pumpkin with CVA shocks and a Reedy Pink Dot motor. It was a blast to drive and I had rare rollovers. Now I own the same chassis as you showed here but also switched to Pumpkin Metallic Special Chrome wheels. In my eyes the "new" Pajero wheels are not well thought through. As another comment here earlier, it may be that they wanted to resemble the look of the old 58044 style. But creating new wheels with this outdated mount style instead of introducing 12mm hex to this chassis seems to be short sighted. I "grew up" with Tamiya and I still buy some of their models, but honestly I sometimes simply doesn't understand their marketing.

Thanks! I understand that Tamiya wanted it to be different from the other CW-01 trucks, but the wheels did not match
