Awesome informative video. Just what i was looking for. I thought the wing looked out of place too like a person without a neck or something. I found a wing that's even more elevated and positioned further back. I got PS 52 anodised gold and I'll leave out the silver stickers that run down the centre. Looking forward to more vids. Thanks mate from Bundaberg down under

😂 “person without a neck” yes that’s exactly it. Thanks mate, super appreciated and glad you got some good info out of the video.. Yeah the wing hight has always bothered me. Only thing I really disliked about the kit. You”ll love it in gold. Thanks for watching. Hope to talk more in the future ✌️

Hi is this a good first Tamiya car or is the BBX better Reliability and lowest maintenance are key for me what would be the minimum upgrades you would suggest just for reliability
@NoNoRc10 ай бұрын
The bbx will definitely be a lot more in-depth build. Not that you couldn’t do it however it’s just more of a capable buggy and might be a slight challenge for your first. The Novafox is great, you could also look at something like neo fighter, the racing fighter or a sand viper. Those would be even easier to assemble than the Novafox and would be a great beginner tamiya build to jump into. I would just recommend bearings to start off with and as you get use to it you can upgrade parts like the motor, shocks ect.. Any other question feel free. Thanks for watching!

What was the reason why you couldn't replace the two rear screw pins with the stainless suspension shafts?
@NoNoRc9 ай бұрын
The Tamiya screw pins measure 46mm. I had some 48mm suspension shafts that I thought would work. Unfortunately, you’d need at least 50mm. Those tamiya screw pins don’t go all the way through the arm which I didn’t know until assembling. Hence the reason even 48mm was too short. The closest shafts I could find were 52mm so they would work with some spacers but I didn’t want to wait and pay for shipping so I just settled for screw pins on the lowers.. Hope this helped, thanks for watching !

@@NoNoRc Thank you. I thought you were going to say that there wasn't enough room to get an 'e' clip on the other end and that's why you didn't fit them. I have a fair few shafts so will go and measure them. Great video.
